WHO IS ADVANCEMENT OF CIVILIZATION EFFORT?
Domestic Administration
Founder & President – Alix Claire Erie
I have been building Advancement of Civilization Effort since 2012 across many fronts. ACE began as a blog and then became a series of writings, in the process of being edited for publishing. Eventually the ideas began to inspire discussion and gained enough momentum to develop into a weekly group video podcast with international board members Michel Combes, Mathew Jijo, Charles Ostman, and Daniel Feldman, and often included guest speakers. We discussed science, technology, economy, healthcare, education, government, spirituality, religion, the major conflicts and issues in the world, and the future of humanity. This podcast lasted a total of about 9 months, and in those sessions we designed a vision into what we as a group would like to see our civilization evolve.
From these discussions evolved the plans for several projects in the form of an intentional community, and it became obvious that ACE had grown out of its role in my life as a hobby, and I was making plans for this community that would keep me busy full-time until the end of my natural life span. Furthermore, the projects proposed will obviously require significant manpower and funding to execute. Therefore, in 2017 we finally took the decision as a group to file for the federally tax exempt status as a 501(c)3 charity organization. It is my greatest pride to be able to say that in July 2018, this status was awarded, retroactive to October 2018, making us eligible to receive many grants, large donations, and bequeathments, both public and private.
Now, ACE has entered into a period of slow growth, intended over the next 10 years, while I gather the necessary information, contacts, and resources to generate the funding for a piece of land where we will be able to perform our activities. I have chosen the island of Kauai, Hawaii as our home base, and over the next several years I will be taking the time to learn about the culture and entities that are already in existence, with the intention of giving honor and respect this pristine environment.
I hope that with all of your blessings we will arrive at our end goal for this period of gaining the respect of the local community here on Kauai and that we will be offered a permanent place and role in their ecosystem.
With love,
Alix Claire Erie
